Strawberry flavored Panadol baby syrup is for children between 2 months and 12 years of age. It is formulated specially to be easy to take and easy to administer.

Oral Suspension. 


The Oral Suspension bottle of panadol baby syrup is available in 60mL and 100mL. Every dose of 5mL contains 120 mg of paracetamol. It also includes Carmoisine Supra hexanol (E219, E215, and E217). If some sugars are known to be intolerant to your child, contact your doctor before use.

How to Use 

  • Before use, shaking the bottle is essential for at least 10 seconds. 
  • Do not overfill the spoon.

  • Age 2-3 months 
  • Post-vaccination fever
  • Other causes of Pain and Fever only if
  • Weighs over 4 kg
  • Born after 37 weeks

How much 

  • One 2.5 mL measure.  
  • If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5 mL dose. 
  • How often (in 24 hours) 
  • 1-2 times. 
  • 3-6 months 
  • One 2.5 mL measure. 
  • Four times a day. 
  • 6-24 months 
  • One 5 mL Spoonful 
  • Four times a day. 
  • 2-4 years 
  • A spoonful of 5 mL and a measure of 2.5 mL.

  • 4-8 years

Possible Side Effects 

Every medicine has side effects, but paracetamol has a rare side effect it might occur; however, not everyone gets them. 

The side effects below may sometimes happen. 

See a doctor immediately if you have an allergic reaction to this medicine. 

An allergic reaction may include: 

  • Skin rash, skin flaking, boils, mouth and lips sore, facial swelling, fever. 
  • Chest tightness or collapse. 

If you experience any of these side effects, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor as soon as possible. 

  • Bruising. 
  • Sore Throat. 
  • Back pain. 
  • Nausea. 
  • Vomiting. 

Warning & Precautions

  • Always Read the label all the time 
  • Do not take this if you are allergic to paracetamol
  •  Keep out of sight and reach for children. 
  •  Before taking Panadol 120mg/5ml ORAL SUSPENSION, please consult your doctor if you have you have any liver or kidney problems. 
  •  Overdose may fail the liver.  In the event of an overdose, immediate medical management is required, even if there are no symptoms of overdose. 
  • This product should only be used when necessary. 

If there is no improvement in symptoms within 24 hours, if the child takes prescribed medicines or is under a physician’s care, if your child was born prematurely and is less than three months of age, long-term use can be harmful without medical supervision.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: 

Discuss with your doctor or pharmacist before starting this medicine if you are pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. 

How long does Panadol syrup take to work? 

After taking Panadol Baby syrup, your child should begin to feel less pain about 30 minutes. Working effectively can take up to an hour.

Can Panadol syrup for adults? 

Yes, an adult can use it if they cannot swallow the medicine but make sure they read the recommended dose on the leaflet.
